Eyewear Design
Jonathan Saunders is a London based Scottish designer, renowned for his innovative use of colour, print design and traditional silk screening techniques.
After winning Elle Style Awards British Designer of the Year (2008) and securing three British Vogue Covers, Saunders’ collections were stocked in international retailers such as Harrod’s, Harvey Nichols and Liberty.
Seeing an opportunity in the designer eyewear market, Saunders wanted to bring his experimental colour theory and affinity for bold shapes to the world of sunglasses. I worked closely with Saunders to design a collection that mixed classic profiles with striking sinlgle colours, two-tone acetates, and exaggerated tortoiseshell patterns.
